Parent questions

Before you book

How much does private soccer training cost in New Jersey?
As of August 2026, one-on-one training runs about $85 per hour. Small groups are roughly $40 to $55 per player depending on group size. Multi-week blocks are $150 to $225 per athlete for six or seven weeks, and a single drop-in session is about $30.
Do I book through SoccerTraining.io?
No. Every booking happens on the trainer’s own website, at their price, and your agreement is with them. We build and run the software their site uses. If something goes wrong with a session, the trainer is who you speak to — their cancellation and refund terms are published on their own site.
What age should a player start private training?
Most New Jersey trainers take players from about seven or eight. Before that, small-sided games and unstructured play generally do more for a young player than a structured private session will.
How many sessions does it take to see a difference?
Trainers here run six and seven-week blocks for a reason: technical and athletic change shows up over a block, not over a session. A single session tells you whether your player and the coach get along, which is worth knowing before you buy ten.
Are these trainers vetted?
We verify that a trainer is a real, operating business before listing them, and every listing links to their own site where their credentials are published in full. We do not perform background checks, and we would rather say that plainly than imply a level of screening we do not do. Ask a trainer directly about clearances — any serious one will have an answer ready.
